POV: It’s Spooky Season in San Andreas. Witches, nurses, prisoners, and the like wander the streets. But one challenge stands between you, today and Halloween. The Dept. 25 Original Song Challenge!

What’s the challenge?! Compose an original song to bring in the season with the theme of ‘Silly Spooky’. Do you have the guts to write a lighthearted, fun, spooky Halloween original?

I know, I know, some may be thinking, “but I’m not a musician”, and that’s okay. Shower singers are welcome! Comfortable with singing? All genres are welcome, too! How fun would it be to hear an upbeat pop song about being chased through the woods by an estranged person with a chainsaw? Or a sappy piano song about skeletons!

So let’s talk about the catches;

The one golden and most important rule for the challenge: no AI use! That means no AI for the lyrics, music, processing vocals, or literally any part of the process.
There will be no judging. It’s not a contest or competition with a panel of judges; there is no first or last place; it’s all for fun and the season!
AND the best part Department 25 is offering: EVERYONE gets paid for their silly spooky song submission!
