Answer The Call: San Andreas Medical Services Seeking Future Doctors and Nurses

The San Andreas Medical Services (SAMS) team is opening their apps from August 24th – August 29th as part of their latest recruitment initiative. Anyone interested in pursuing a career in psychology, medical, or hospital services are encouraged to apply through the government website when apps are open. During that time classes are being hosted by members of SAMS staff aimed at those who are newer to the medical field with little to no experience as well as those who may need a refresher course.

Meet the SAMS team!

SAMS staff will be hosting three 1-hour meet and greet events at Pillbox Hill Medical Center on Saturday, August 26th at 11:30AM ET, 3PM ET, and 10PM ET.

“Come meet our staff and get a tour! This meet and greet is for prospective people who are interested in working for SAMS and for the public to get to know our staff. We will have people who are happy to explain what working at SAMS is all about and give tours.”

Nursing People Back to Health

The Nursing Academy curriculum is designed to provide participants with a clear understanding of what it is like to work as a nurse at Pillbox Hospital and in the San Andreas Medical Services. Nursing candidates must be 21 or older. No prior medical training or schooling is required. The nursing academy will take place at Pillbox Pillbox Hill Medical Center on Thursday, August 24th at 7PM ET and Sunday, August 27th at 11:30AM ET.

Paging Doctor…You!

The doctor academy, which lasts for about an hour, will provide insight into the way Pillbox Hospital operates and will be helpful for those close to obtaining their MD. It will also offer a refresher for practicing doctors. Prospective doctors must be 25 or older and have an MD or be close to finishing their MD. The doctor academy will take place in one of the classrooms at the University of Los Santos on Friday, Aug 25th @ 10AM ET and Saturday, Aug 26th @ 5PM ET.

Mental Health Matters

It’s important to take mental health seriously. Learn psychology and go on an adventure of the mind with Dr Drake Paxton in one of the classrooms at the University of Los Santos on Saturday, Aug 26th @ 10PM ET.

What happens after I attend a class?

Upon completion of the classes, an exam will be presented to those interested in pursuing a career at Pillbox Hospital and in the San Andreas Medical Services.

These classes provide a unique opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare to learn from experienced medical professionals and get a better understanding of what it takes to work in the medical field. The recruitment initiative by Pillbox Hill Medical Center is a positive step towards continuing the high level of healthcare San Andreas Medical Services continues to offer our state.
