Woof Woof, but Make It Christmas

On Wednesday night, excitement filled Public Works HQ. We said farewell to the shroomies and pudding slide as we welcomed Shibas and winter decorations. PW is selling three new Shiba plushies: crimson, evergreen, and arctic. They all have unique squeezable voice boxes. You should stop by PW and get yourself your very own set of pals!

He’s Back?

After months of silence from this ol’ guy, The Game Master (TGM) made his existence known again. My barefoot friend, Annie, wrote an updated article on the “friendship” between him and her, as well as the video TGM shared back in October via QR codes on flyers throughout the state. If you don’t know who TGM is, Annie wrote three other articles about this guy, including a phone interview with him from earlier this year.

Useless in Name Only…

Jin Youngjae reached out to Weazel News and Useless News to tell us about new apartments opening in Paleto Bay. The team at Useless News published a great article covering the new apartments later that night. Basically, the lease at the new Jin Sea Apartments will start at $2,500 per month and increase based on any additional amenities you choose. The apartments will be available for lease soon™ unless somehow all 50-ish apartments are occupied by the time you read this.

ICE ICE Maybe?

It’s been many moons… too many moons, but it’s finally here again! Well, maybe. Late last night, Erin’s article shared the excitement of a frozen Alamo Sea. I went to check it out today, but it melted and is back to liquid. I assume the state of the Alamo Sea will fluctuate based on the temperature or something. Regardless, you should read the article because it includes loads of tips for how to stay safe in cold and icy conditions. (I feel like none of you will read the article now that you know it includes safety tips!)

Upcoming Events:

  • Dec 29th @ 3PM EST: Town Hall Meeting
  • Dec 29th @ 11:59PM EST: Food Truck Friday

Stella’s Recommendation of the Week…

Whether the roads are dry, wet, or icy, you should slow down when driving on any road. By “slow down,” I mean drive the speed limit and not above it, especially when you’re in areas that are likely to be populated with pedestrians and vehicles. I’ve been hit by plenty of vehicles, hint the helmet, but I don’t want to keep getting into vehicular accidents because people aren’t slowing down in the city. Directed at no one in particular, cough cough, if you see traffic cones placed down by Public Works or cops, consider coming to a complete stop at the cones and observing your surroundings fully before driving quickly around the cones and continuing on your drive.
