State Rep Emilie Lillegård-Paxton hosted the second town hall of the 9th Congress at Rockford Hills City Plaza on March 31, 2024 at 3pm EST. Niko McReary of Weazel News recorded the meeting.
Ari’s Deli was outside and was providing catering that was paid for as part of the meeting. There is a restaurant catering every town hall. Reach out to the Legislature to be that restaurant as soon as possible. There are only 2 town halls remaining for the 9th Congress.

Meeting Start: The meeting was called to order at 3:04PM EST.
Executive: In attendance – Governor Damien Key
Recently appointed a new secretary of state, Emery McKenna. Secretary McKenna has actively been reaching out to the public for feedback, as well as visiting with individuals throughout the State for a more personal discussion. Cian Blackwell is working on the applications for this Pardon Commission and interviews should be starting potentially this week.
Governor Key will be continuing to work with his appointed staff to aid them whilst also keeping a watchful eye on the progress within their set initiatives.

The current status of H.R. 328 and 330 were relayed to Governor Key and these are now on his desk to review for approval or veto.

San Andreas Flight Authority (SAFA) – Morrigan Ford: Training has been updated within SAFA for rotor craft with courses soon to be available for pilots.
Department of Public Works – Director Erin Murphy: Applications have been updated and PW is currently working with employees on training, as well as promoting within and training new managers. Public Works is currently overhauling the SOPs to create a clearly defined process moving forward for its employees.
