Hello!
As you may have recently seen through advertisements on twitter, OnlyAds or on posters around the state, the Paleto Games were planned for later this coming week.
Unfortunately, I regret to announce said games are being cancelled due to a lack of participants in the sign ups. I’d like to apologize, as I know many of you were very keen on watching them. There was certainly a large amount of hype up here in Paleto; but hype for watching didn’t end up constituting the same hype for signing up to participate.
However, that said, the other events that were going to be running alongside the Paleto Games are still set to continue as planned. The Paleto Bay Car Show being run by Paleto Customs and the PPC will be happening in the Clucking Bell Farms parking lot across from Paleto Customs on Friday May 5th at 4pm EST. The Raven Repair Bike Show will be happening in the same parking lot later that same day, Friday May 5th at 9pm EST; run by Raven Repair with the help of the PPC.
Both of these shows are going to have 40k prize pots, with an entry fee of $500. Out of respect for allowing such ample use of their large parking lot, placements in the shows will be limited as to not cause too many emission issues so close to the factory.
Along with these shows, there’s going to be another Paleto Food Truck Festival the next day; on Saturday May 6th at 5pm EST, just by the dirt roundabout next to Pop’s Diner. The Paleto Property Committee is inviting any and all Restaurant and food vending businesses to come enjoy the nice beach views while serve what they serve best.
In the future, the Paleto Property Committee will potentially be running similar forms of the games as the ones planned, but more likely as individual events rather than something that may require multiple days worth of attendance.
I’d like to once again apologize for letting anyone down who was hoping to participate in the games or watch them. I personally hope to be able to bring more events to Paleto Bay in cooperation with our local businesses and the Paleto Property Committee, and will be sure to keep the public informed when more are on the way!
I appreciate all those who showed interest in the Paleto Games wholeheartedly.
