Investigation Finds Explosions At Eclipse Medical A Deliberate Attack

Published

on

Vinewood, San Andreas – U.S. Marshals and The Major Crimes Division (MCD) have confirmed the fire and explosions that led to the closure of the Eclipse Medical Center were a part of a deliberate attack. Although evidence suggests there is a person of interest, no specific details have been released as this is an ongoing investigation.

MCD indicated that an individual made their way to the roof where the initial fire began. The ensuing explosions tore through the building, ultimately leading to the collapse of the medical center, and were responsible for countless casualties, including claiming the life of Doctor Echo Hale.

As the building remains hazardous, the public is urged to avoid approaching the rubble. Those with information about the attack are encouraged to contact the Major Crimes Division (MCD) or use their anonymous tip line.

San Andreas Medical Services (SAMS) quickly relocated to Pillbox Hill Medical Center off of Elgin and Strawberry Avenue, officially taking over operations as the major trauma center in the city in the early morning hours on December 29th. SAMS will continue to offer their extensive range of medical services to patients in the state of San Andreas. As reported previously, the new Pillbox Hill Medical Center has been designed with patient comfort in mind, equipped with spacious waiting rooms and private examination rooms. In addition, it is easily accessible and located close to major roads, highways, and public transportation. With their new location and improved facilities, SAMS will continue to commit to providing the best possible medical care for everyone.

At this time, there is nothing to suggest there will be further attacks against other hospitals in San Andreas. However, citizens are advised to continue to remain vigilant and stand together against these heinous acts.

The following official statements detail the current public status of the investigation.

A press release from Director of Hospital Services, Niko McReary, put out on January 17th, 2023.

Official statement from Deputy Marshal Oliver McKenzie received January 31st, 2023.

To the Citizens of San Andreas,

I am Deputy Marshal Oliver McKenzie, and I am the Deputy Marshal who has been assigned to the Eclipse Medical Bombing Case. You may not know who I am, but I know a lot of the people of San Andreas. They are not ones to allow themselves to be forced into fear from a shameless and heartless attack on those who are either already injured, or those who are selfishly attempting to heal those who are. It saddens me to hear of such an attack on the people of San Andreas. It hurts me further to read into the investigation and learn of how things were done. Although I cannot go into details at this time, I know the people of San Andreas will stand strong against attacks like this to those in need. In no way, shape or form, are the United States Marshal Service taking over the case from the Eclipse Hospital attack from the diligent hands of the Major Crimes Division. Instead, we are going to fully support them moving forward in this investigation to assist in bringing down what can only be described as an act of terror.

If you have any information, small or large, that can assist the Major Crimes Division in this matter, do not hesitate to inform the Major Crimes Division or the United States Marshal Service. Every little bit helps not only us, but yourselves, your friends, and your family. We will get through this together. From the south side, to Vinewood, Paleto, to Mirror Park. We all have ones we love here in San Andreas, and we all have people we want to protect. We all walk different walks of life, but we all agree that innocent injured people, and those who help those who cannot help themselves shouldn’t be subject to such attacks. Let’s stop this, together.

Oliver McKenzie
