San Andreas enters Day Two of opened polls following news first reported here on WEAZEL of the arrest of Gubernatorial Candidate Charles Bradstock at 3pm EST of four counts of alleged Battery.
Twitter exploded upon learning of the arrest of Mr. Bradstock, who had two days earlier won much audience support for his Pro-2nd Amendment gun control policy, and his promise to create a civilian oversite council to combat police corruption.
Police insist that the arrests were not politically motivated, although their silence on the arrest for much of the day left many San Andreas citizens to doubt their claims. Spokespeople for the Bradstock Campaign have said that they hold no animosity towards the police, who were just following orders and suggested Bradstock will fight the charges in a court but would not commit fully at this time.
Bradstock entered a plea of “No Contest” and was held in Bolingbroke State Penitentiary for a sentence of unknown length.
