President Viktor D Major issued a press release late this afternoon announcing a significant change to the San Andreas Executive. Citing “ongoing absenteeism within the legislative chambers” that “has left key responsibilities unattended”, the Executive branch will be assuming the duties and oversight formerly the responsibility of State Representatives.
In light of these changes, we will be re-opening registration in order to give any potential candidate the opportunity to register or modify their registration. Registration for the office of Governor until Sunday, October 11th at 7PM EST.
Following the president’s press release, San Andreas Governor Bellarosa Muratori held a press conference shortly after, at 7:30pm EST, to address the coming changes to the governing bodies of the state.

Press Release: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Date: 10 Oct 2026

Viktor D. Major, President of the United States
To the Citizens of San Andreas – Reorganization of Legislative Governance
When the State of San Andreas established a legislative branch composed of elected State Representatives, the goal was to provide an active, dedicated channel for civic administration and local governance. However, ongoing absenteeism within the legislative chambers has left key responsibilities unattended. To ensure the state continues to function effectively without unnecessary procedural delays, Governor Bellarosa Muratori and my office have agreed that a structural adjustment is necessary.
The duties and oversight previously assigned to the State Representatives will be consolidated into the Executive branch under the authority of Governor Muratori to ensure direct leadership, accountability, and steady governance moving forward. To facilitate this transition and accommodate the revised administrative structure, the upcoming campaign schedule is temporarily postponed. Official campaigning will not begin until all registered and prospective candidates have had the opportunity to review the changes in governance, at which point the campaign period will officially commence.
Governor Muratori and my office appreciate the patience and cooperation of all citizens and candidates as we streamline the state government and transition into this new framework.
In light of these changes, we will be re-opening registration in order to give any potential candidate the opportunity to register or modify their registration. Registration for the office of Governor until Sunday, October 11th at 7PM EST.
