Sunday, during the inauguration, the Barbant Administration showed off even more how dedicated they are to serving the people of the State of San Andreas until the very end. Former Governor Jeremy Barbant officially announced the demilitarization of Fort Zancudo. This change will take time and much of the work will carry over into the Merlin administration. While things are being worked on, it is important to remember that this is still an active duty military base until the federal government has completed the demilitarization process.

Barbant Administration Announces Fort Zancudo Demilitarization

In the press release the former executive team shared they’ve been working with the support of President Victor Dee Major to negotiate the disarmament of Fort Zancudo “In alignment with our unwavering commitment to peace and the revitalization of our state.” The federal government will maintain ownership of the property and lease it to the State of San Andreas. What will the state use the future demilitarized air base for? Only time will tell. For now, it’s asked of the public to have patience and understanding while this enormous task is just getting started.

Rockford Hills (City Hall) – In alignment with our unwavering commitment to peace and
the revitalization of our state, the Executive team is pleased to announce the upcoming
demilitarization of Fort Zancudo.

Over the past months, our team has worked diligently alongside federal counterparts in
Washington to facilitate this transition. It is our belief that this historic step reflects our
dedication to fostering a safer and more prosperous community for all residents.
With the support of our President Victor Dee Major, the Executive team is confident
that this process will be executed smoothly and responsibly within the given timeframe.
