Compound Issues…

SWAT raided the Black Lotus compound last night. Shout News published the press release issued by the newly appointed Sheriff of the Blain County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), Chris Stevens. Later in the night, Larry Tate, President of Black Lotus MC, writer of hit singles, Oatmeal Grandma, I’m Just Tate, and Toilet Guy, and Superstar Fashion Designer, issued his own press release to comment on the raid. Check out Shout News to read all about what they had to share with the public.

This isn’t the first time Black Lotus MC has been raided by law enforcement either. Given Larry Tate’s response this time around, will we see this go to another probable cause hearing, and will the warrant be invalidated like last time? That’s something for lawyers and the courts to decide.

Need Help Deciding?

There was a bit of a heated interaction during the Special Elections debate that took place at Vinewood Bowl on Wednesday night. There was a range of topics discussed, but to me the audience questions were what really caught my attention. Shout News highlighted them in their article, and we here at Weazel News broadcasted the debate for all to watch live. And if that’s not enough, Shout News also compiled information from each candidate like their platforms and most important issues.

Winter 2024 – Special Election Debates

Out with the old and in with the new…

Former Blaine County Sheriff Liam Cavanagh made the decision to resign and become a United States Marshal. Governor Damien Key nominated Chris Stevens for the position of Sheriff for the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office. Undersheriff Chris Stevens was appointed the Acting Sheriff while the nomination was being processed. When being voted by the legislature, only State Representative Lucas Evans voted Aye, while everyone else Nayed it. However, President of the United States, Archibald Reeves, stepped in to get rid of the position of Sheriff and rebirth it as the Supreme Allied Sheriff Commander. This all happened within a single minute of the BCSO being federalized and returned to the State of San Andreas. Shout News wrote about the resignation and the president’s Executive Order, so please read them for more info.

Feeling Green?

Leprechauns ran wild yesterday at Bohan and KOKORO’s Leprechaun Lunacy event. Everyone gathered at the KOKORO Plaza before the leprechauns were set free to run about the city for the scavenger hunt. Clues were posted on Y and participants had to search high and low for the leprechauns and return them to the plaza for their prize. There were loads of them running around after these leprechauns. Participants returned to the plaza to enjoy the musical performances until the event ended. I thought it was fun (and a bit dangerous). I would recommend doing this again.

Stella’s Recommendation of the Week…

It’s the Special Elections, y’all! Get voting if you haven’t already! Go down to City Hall to get your ballot and vote today. The Special Election Results Party will be tomorrow, Monday, at 9pm ET. It’ll be broadcasted with music, speeches, and perhaps more. If you want to join in on the fun and suspense in-person, it’ll be at the Sapphire Falls Vineyard. See you there!
