Commissioner Barry Hill of the San Andreas State Police (SASP) issued a press release on Saturday citing a brand new tool being rolled out to all law enforcement in San Andreas. Their vehicles will now be equipped with printers in them so they can give drivers physical paper copies of traffic citations during stops. These printed forms will help provide greater transparency and communication for the general public when citations are issued. If you get pulled over for a traffic violation, you may just get an extra something to take with you to remember the occasion.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Saturday, April 5th, 2025
Mission Row, SA – We are thrilled to announce that we have implemented brand new equipment into our patrol vehicles. Equipment that is state of the art technology. We are officially entering the paper age of the 21st century.
Effective immediately, law enforcement officers from all agencies will begin issuing physical copies of traffic citations right on the side of the road. These printed citations will include information regarding the stop, including: the location of the traffic stop, the make & model of the vehicle, a list of the traffic violations committed, the fine amount owed, and the law enforcement officer who wrote the citation.
For over four years, we’ve made do with verbal warnings or digital entries that drivers never actually saw. But not anymore. We believe that this is a step towards better documentation and clearer communication with the public.
If you find yourself getting pulled over, enjoy your freshly printed souvenir.
