Erin MurphyA new chapter in mobile technology is here. iFruit has officially unveiled the iFruit X at a private press event this past month. Boasting about its latest flagship device, the tech giant is promising a fresh start for users with a sleek design, revamped operating system, and bold changes to how people connect, communicate, and share their digital lives.
The launch of the iFruit X is more than just an upgrade—it’s a reset and departure from the status quo. With new features being implemented across messaging, social media, and finance, and more, users should prepare for an experience that both refines and redefines the way they interact with their mobile devices and other people.

A Fresh Start: Contact and Message Updates
Change is coming, and with it, a clean slate. When everyone gets their new iFruit X, all existing contacts will be wiped. However, iFruit is offering a way to download current contact lists before making the switch. More information on how you can download your contact will be provided by iFruit developers when it is available. Additionally, the new phone will support a maximum of 100 contacts, a temporary measure while engineers monitor the stability of the updated operating system.
Text messages, also won’t be making the jump. There’s no recovery option being provided by iFruit at this time—so if there’s anything important in your inbox, users are urged to back it up before the upgrade happens.
Not everything will be lost, though. Photos and notes from existing devices will be safely transferred, ensuring that users won’t lose their personal photo memories or important information.
The Y Platform Overhaul: A Clean Slate and New Features
One of the biggest changes rolling out alongside the iFruit X is the complete reset of Y platform content. Jin Youngjae, owner of popular social media app Y, has been quoted in internal meetings asking,
“Y don’t we just wipe out all the content and start over? Y haven’t we done this sooner? Y has someone not brought me my Blonde Caffe Misto with non-fat milk, honey, 8 pumps of sugar free vanilla, and no foam”
Jin Youngjae
We assess that the last question from Mr. Jin was in relation to another matter.
With this update, all Y post history will be erased, and user handles will be reset. This means a fresh start for everyone—offering the chance to grab a username that may have been previously unattainable. Additionally, Y handles can be changed every 30 days, as long as the chosen handle isn’t in use by someone else.
Beyond the content wipe, Y is introducing several long-requested features, including:
- Profile header photos for a more personalized touch.
- Follow/Block options for better control over interactions.
- View of your blocked user list for added transparency.
- See follow/followers lists separately, including others’ follow counts.
- Notifications when someone you follow posts, likes, re-yeets, or comments.
- A separate feed to filter posts from followed users only.
These changes mark a major step forward in how users engage with each other on Y, bringing exciting quality-of-life improvements while clearing the slate for a new era of social media interactions for the citizens of San Andreas.
Messaging & Group Chats: More Control, More Features
Communication is evolving with the iFruit X, and the Messages app is seeing a significant update. Group chats will now support up to 15 users, with group owners being able to control who’s added or removed from the group.
Other new messaging features include:
- Send money instantly within the app, no bank details or saved contacts needed.
- Custom notification sounds for specific contacts to personalize call and message alerts.
Favorite contacts for quick and easy access.
Eyefind Browser: Your Portal to Essential Services

The introduction of the eyefind.info app brings a new level of accessibility to essential services. This one-stop app connects users to key platforms, including:
- Blackbook Zoom -Vehicle Pricing and Information
- Dynasty Realty – Real Estate
- Original Clothing – Fashion and Apparel
- Shout News -News
- Slideways – Premier Vehicle Modification Shop
- Tech N Sons – Construction Services
- Weazel News – News
Mobile Gaming: Challenge Yourself and Others
For those looking to pass the time, iFruit X introduces two built-in mobile games:
- 2048 complete with leaderboards so you can brag to your friends how much better you are at the game than they are.
- Wordle with a stats board so you can track your Wordle streak.
A Stunning Lineup of Colors
Of course we can’t talk about a new device without telling you about the fancy new colors it will be available in. The iFruit X will be available in a variety of sleek, modern colors at launch:
- Alpine Green
- Blue
- Desert Tan
- Metallic Black
- Metallic White
- Pink
- Rose Gold
Final Thoughts: A New Beginning for Old Tech
The iFruit X is not just another smartphone—it’s a statement. With a complete reset of the Y platform pending, improved contact and messaging tools, along with a more centralized hub for key services, the iFruit X is setting a new standard for mobile communication. As the world prepare for this transition, the question isn’t just about what’s changing—it’s about what new possibilities are on the horizon.
