Paleto Bay, San Andreas – As the clock ticks towards the closure of today’s critical gubernatorial race, Weazel News wants to remind every citizen to head to City Hall and cast their vote before 8 pm EST. This election season has been particularly vibrant, marked by the dynamic campaigns of incumbent Governor Damien Key and Representative Becks Lawson.

Incumbent Governor Damien Key and Gracie McCoy are known for their Communication is Key (CIK) videos that review news from the executive and legislative branches. Damien was previously a legislative assistant for Audrey Storm, State Representative and Lieutenant Governor for RyRy Avery, and Gracie McCoy was previously the chief of Staff to Governor RyRy Avery.

Representative Becks Lawson is a four-time state representative known for championing the 2023 Legislative Overhaul; Becks has also worked on notable bills such as the San Andreas State Police and San Andreas Security Services in previous terms. Maxine Finch, her Lieutenant Governor running mate, has worked on the election for Chief Justice, assisted in the Criminal Code adjustments, and helped with multiple other projects throughout her term as a State Representative.

The Election Results Party is tonight, January 12, 2024, at 9 pm EST. The results party will be at the Blackwood Saloon in Paleto Bay; join us for results, food, and speeches from the representative and gubernatorial candidates. Election Results will be live on Weazel News!
