LSPD held a press conference to address the “Apex Predator” Case.  The “Apex Predator” or “Forget-Me-Not” case has taken a front-row seat in the state, with the number of victims rising and LSPD no closer to apprehending the perpetrator.  The conference was held at the Mission Row Station, led by Detective Joanna Pool and Detective Sergeant Sally Jenkins.  Detective Lane Maximus and Detective Emily Taylor were also in attendance.

While the press conference was informative, it is noted that this is an ongoing case, and details are being withheld to not hinder the investigation and protect the privacy of the victims and their families.   The Predator is believed to be male, according to several witnesses, and no other identifying details have been released.  The police stated that this case is unrelated to The Vessel case, and not related to the “Fertilizer Murders” from not too long ago.

Forget Me Nots, or Myosotis

The Apex Predator emerged about a month ago and has claimed several victims through the state of San Andreas, none of which have survived.  His “calling card” is the Forget-Me-Not, or Myosotis, a small blue flower with biblical connotations that has also been used as a symbol for various other causes.  He’s also been known to leave the flowers in random locations along with notes or graffiti with biblical references advising the finder to wear them for protection.

According to the police, the Predator’s weapon of choice appears to be a serrated blade.  The crime scenes were described as “gruesome” by Detective Joanna Pool, the victims were deliberately displayed and decorated with Forget Me Nots, and notes with biblical references in which he claims responsibility were left by the Predator.  No other details of the scenes are being released at this time.

Though the Predator appears to be very meticulous in his methods of capture and the selection of the victims does not appear to be random, the police have not been able to link them demographically, and they advise the public that everyone is at risk.

At this time the police are urging people to be safe, and if anyone should have any information, or should anyone encounter anything that could be linked to this case to call the police immediately.
