Wow, that’s a lot of Scoops… NICE!

Let’s get into it!

Got Talent?

The Board of Education is inviting all musicians to sign up for the Battle of the Bands. It’ll take place at the University of San Andreas with a cash prize of $150,000 split between the winner and the runner-up of the best “educational” song. If you’re interested, you can fill out their sign-up form. For questions, please direct them to Maxine Finch or anyone clocked in at the Board of Education.

Elections Are Coming…

This term has flown by and nothing signifies that more than H.R. 335 – A Resolution to Call the Spring 2024 Regular Election being proposed. Shout News broke the story shortly after H.R. 335 was submitted and shared some interesting insights regarding the upcoming election. Who will run this time around? What kinds of initiatives are they going to champion? Only time will tell.

It’s Getting Hot in Here…

Keep on all your clothes for the catwalk at the Heatwave Fashion Show, a collaboration between SCHMUCK Apparel and Original Clothing. The design team worked hard to create so many outfits for the summer season.

It’s Not Too Late!

April Snaps were just shared last night. Rhylee Finke’s San Andreas Snaps series is a collection of photos submitted by the people of San Andreas. There are no monthly themes, but the submissions seem similar enough to allow the photos to be grouped into categories, such as vehicles, various parts of nature, and more. If you want to submit photos for May, make sure you fill out the form at the end of the April article!

Ruh Oh!

While we went about our Saturday, La Mesa Police Department was destroyed in a fire caused by an armed individual who has since been taken into custody. The Major Crime Division released a press release late last night about the situation. There are many reasons as to why someone would want to do something like that, but I’m curious as to why there and then.

Upcoming Events:

  • May 10th @ 8PM ET: Battle of the Bands 2024
  • May 12th @ 12PM ET: Addiction Recovery Support Group

Stella’s Recommendation of the Week…

Tired of staring at your walls? Why not give them a fresh coat of paint? Change up the vibes in your home. Get rid of those skid marks on the walls. Heck! Why not get new flooring installed? Whatever your preferred style is, now is a great time for a DIY home project before summer rolls in. If interior design isn’t your thing, you can always consult with a professional interior design company in San Andreas or reach out to some friends for advice. Don’t be shy! Have fun!
