Important Notes:
On line 15 of the court docket, the defense submitted evidence of a statement from Salvatore Tugelbend. The state was concerned about this and requested the submission of evidence be struck and stripped from the record. Magistrate Anthony Corrandao decided that while it is unorthodox for a defendant to enter their statement, it is not illegal. However, it would lead the defendant to waive their fifth amendment right. Tugelbend agreed to waive his fifth amendment right.
