Who wants plushies? I do – I do! Public Works (PW) has a new line of stuffed toys! They’ve transformed frogs, sharks, and even the legendary Loch Ness Monster into cuddly companions you can’t resist! So, get ready to embrace the cuteness! Here’s what you need to know:

The Plushies

There are three different kinds of plushies this time around: sharks, froges, and nessie.

The sharks, available in blåhaj and gråhaj, were originally manufactured and sold by the Swedish company IKEA. These plush toys, modeled after blue and gray sharks, gained immense popularity through the internet and are now available for purchase worldwide, including online and, as of June 20th, in San Andreas, for $750 each! They are rather large, so unfortunately, they won’t be able to ride on your shoulders like other plushies. However, they absolutely adore piggyback rides or being held firmly in your arms.

If you aren’t interested in statistically-not-likely-to-eat-you friends, there are other options. The froge is a soft plush that clearly resembles… well, frogs! These creatures come in twelve different colors, all carefully chosen to represent the vibrant colors of the various pride flags! Their expressions vary depending on their color, a deliberate choice by PW to give them more personality. Their incredibly compact size makes them perfect for travel, and they tend to favor hitching a ride on your head or shoulders. Every froge has also been equipped with sound chips featuring Public Works’ lovable voices, so give them a gentle squeeze to your heart’s content!

The Loch Ness Monster look-alike, appropriately named nessie, is the final addition to PW’s Pride Month plushies. Similar to Scottish folklore, nessie is a small plush resembling a long-necked plesiosaur. Thanks to its size, this Scottish Legend can be carried with you wherever you go, and, much like froge, it absolutely enjoys riding on your head.

Both nessie and froge are available for purchase for $250 each.

These three variations of plush goodness are on sale from June 20th to July 20th. After that, Public Works has plans to transition into a summer series of toys and goodies. While there is a possibility of them making a return, it is unlikely that they will be sold again in the near future, as they are intended to represent the entirety of Pride Month. It’s important to note that Public Works does not make any profit from these sales.

What’s in a name?

After receiving one of PW’s plushies, surely you’d want to give it a name, right? To ensure that your beloved friend’s name remains intact, Public Works is providing continued public access to the label table! This station is equipped with a sewing machine and markers, making it a straightforward and effortless process for anyone wishing to label their new best friend. All you have to do is approach the label table, bring out your companion, and let your creativity flow! You can find the label table conveniently located right outside the PW trailer closest to the main entrance.

Public Works extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who continues to rely on them for their towing and infrastructure needs. They are committed to working diligently to serve the citizens of San Andreas.

“We hope people enjoy the plushies and collectibles whenever we make them.”

Gotta collect ’em all, but how?

You know all about the new toys now so how do you get them? The Public Works crew is excited to bring these amazing toys to everyone. Give them a call via 211 and ask if anyone’s available at the HQ to assist with toy sales. Please keep in mind this is in addition to their regular tow and infrastructure duties. Your patience is greatly appreciated when getting into contact with the team.

“Dial 211. We’ll get it done.”
