Los Santos, San Andreas – Judge Openshaw has fought back against his Impeachment Charges after Chief Justice MacLamar clarifies Openshaw was on the Supreme Court of San Andreas when he wrote the opinion regarding the constitutionality of H.R. 109.

“This opinion was made while he had an active position on the Supreme Court, and was directed by myself to write this opinion to the docket. The State Constitution allows the sitting Chief Justice to appoint and remove people from the Supreme Court from the Circuit Court at will. Ultimately, he was operating under the power of the Supreme Court, acting as a Supreme Court Justice while writing an opinion that was made some month ago.”

CHIEF JUSTICE JOHN MACLAMAR

Cyrus Hunt, who is providing Openshaw with legal advice on the impeachment matter states that the Legislature, while also directly accusing Audrey Storm, is pushing “Lies and Fallacies” in the articles of Impeachment against Openshaw.

“I hope Ms. Storm is able to explain this when we examine her in this sham of an impeachment proceeds. So the public can see how she falsely claims on a public impeachment proceeding that he was not an Associate Justice, when that is indeed not true, and a lie. These allegations were false, but they served to besmirch Justice Openshaw’s reputation.”

The Articles of Impeachment introduced by Speaker Audrey Storm (Ind.) accuse Judge Openshaw of Misconduct and False Impersonation. It’s unclear where the information about Openshaw being removed from the Supreme Court originates.
