PALETO BAY (WZL) — With the news of the election being called, Current Governor Vlad Tod has confirmed he will not be running for re-election in May. He has cited on-going mental health as the reason why the Governor has been absent from his role over the past months, also saying:

“No, I will not be re-running for office, with the state of my mental health at the moment, I know that my absence will get longer and longer. I think that it would be best for me not to run knowing how my state of mind is at the moment. As far as who might be running but, personally I will not be running next time. As far as running again in the future? Possibly, potentially. I can’t say for certain”
