VINEWOOD (WZL) — The Representative is in trouble again, Hudson Welsh has been arrested and released on bail for the charges of Aggravated Battery, Obstruction of Justice and Felony Evading arrest. On the 30th according to allegations from the police; the representative, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, tactical clothing and a gas mask, pointed a silenced pistol at a vehicle that was being pursued by law enforcement at Calais Ave and San Andreas Ave and allegedly opened fire.

Police pursued the bike which had opened fire on the vehicle and gunfire was exchanged. The pursuit came to a stop near the Little Seoul 24/7, down the street from the Weazel News Building. According to the police the vehicle stopped due to the suspect being completely unable to continue to drive due to their injuries. Police allege that the suspect was taken to Mt. Zonah and during processing they found that the pistol that was used was allegedly registered to Hudson Welsh, and the representative’s government badge was also found.

According to the court records the police version of events is backed up by three officers. Hudson Welsh was charged with one count of Obstruction of Justice, two counts of Aggravated Battery and one count of Felony Evading Arrest. The representative pleaded Not Guilty and was released on bail on the 30th.

Weazel News has reached out to both the Government and lawyers representing Welsh in this case for comment however we did not get a response.

Public opinion regarding this situation was very visible in the last batch of polling. In our survey a number of respondents put Hudson Welsh as an issue the government should address.

The last incident Representative Welsh was involved in was back in early March involving a Doctor at Mt Zonah. A plea deal was reached during that case and it never went to trial. It’s likely the same will happen again.
