High Stakes Hostage Situation

In the early hours of Tuesday, March 15th at approximately 1:00am EST, Los Santos Law Enforcement Officers were called to a hostage situation on top of the La Puerta Freeway Bridge.

It is unclear how this incident began or evolved, but Weazel was on the scene to cover the incident as an unidentified male wearing military fatigues had just taken a hostage to the top of the supports of the La Puerta Bridge. Police arrived on scene with patrol vehicles, and Air One was in the air throughout the incident.

It is also unclear how police recovered the hostage, however the scene ended with a foot pursuit along the narrow supports of the bridge. Police were able to get on either side of the suspect utilizing Air One and take the suspect into custody. No injuries were reported.

Bystanders on scene stated that the suspect was angered over an attempt to take over an island and had been intending to start a revolution, however this is unconfirmed.
