Welcome to the second edition of the ‘City of Crime’ series. Today instead of the numbers we are going to look at geography.

As a note, the crime reports Weazel receive are anonymized and don’t contain information about the crime or who was involved. We can only see the date and time of the report, the charges and the location provided.

Crimes by Road

This map shows the amount of crimes that occur on each road. The large highways/interstates are divided up in sections. Most roads have recorded at least one incident.

The largest amount of crime was found on Clinton Avenue in Vinewood with ~490 individual reports attributed to the road.

Following Clinton Avenue is Vespucci Blvd, San andreas Avenue, Elgin Avenue, Alta Street, Strawberry Avenue, Innocence Blvd, Hawick Avenue, Interestate-1 and El Rancho Blvd.

Crimes by Neighbourhood

This map shows the average crime rate in each area. The major crime areas are Downtown and Southern Los Santos, Vinewood and Rockford Hills.

The areas with the lowest crime are Fort Zancudo, Mt Josiah, Tongva Valley and Mount Gordo. Harmony sees the most crime in the County mainly due to the frequency of robberies

Crimes by Recurring Frequency of Firearm Incidents

This map compares all the crimes found in each neighbourhood and sees how many of those crimes are firearm related, this includes shooting and firearm violations.

South Los Santos and hunting areas see the highest level of recurring firearm incidents in their neighborhoods. Los Santos Airport and Vespucci Beach have lowest frequency of firearm incidents. Paleto Bay is the safest habitable space for residents who want to flee the regular firearms incidents which commonly plague built up areas.

Crimes by Recurring Frequency of Theft/Robbery

This map compares all the crimes found in each neighbourhood and sees how many of those crimes are robbery/theft related. This includes any form of theft from vehicular to store robberies.

Vinewood and the Gas Station near the Tataviam Mountains share the highest amount of recurrent robberies due to the frequency of 24/7 store robberies in these neighbourhood areas.
