Governor Establishes the Planning and Zoning Commission
DEL PERRO (WZL) — Today the Governor has issued her first executive order. It establishes a commission for Planning and Zoning. The commission “will oversee the establishment of zip codes and the zoning of land within the state including but not limited to residential, commercial, and industrial zones.”
The executive order also outlines duties such as establishing Zip codes and other zoning related ordinances. Weazel News understands the three commissioner spots have been filled by William Hudson, Randy O’Claire, and Jin Youngjae.
The executive order also gives the commissioners the ability to rename roads, streets and established historical sites.
