Mysterious Video Linked to Power Outage

Published

on

Another layer of intrigue has been added to the strange explosion and power outage on August 23rd. A mysterious USB was found in an envelope at The Awakening music festival over the weekend of the 28th that contained a video seeming to take responsibility for the power outage. The minute and seventeen second video shows edited footage of the power outage, claiming that the police have the story wrong on what happened at the power plant the day of the outage and that “there is more to come.” The video, titled “Smile” also shows several individuals in yellow smiling masks with the accompanying text “we are here among you… so put on a smile.”

This mysterious video coincides with several eyewitness reports from the day of the outage who claim to have witnessed strange black vans and armored individuals at the scene within minutes of the explosion. Little is known about the mysterious group seen in the video or what their intentions are. More information will follow as this is a still developing story. Anyone with information on the power outage or the group possibly responsible are urged to put in an anonymous tip on Weazel News’ tip line or contact 0666471354.
