Constitutional Committee Has Been Established

LOS SANTOS (WZ) — The legislature today has announced the members of the Constitutional Committee and outlined it’s responsibilities.

James Paxton, appointed Chairman of the Constitutional Committee has released more information about the Constitutional Committee which was agreed upon in the last legislative session. 

The Committee members are the following;

  • Governor McKinley
  • Rep. Endeavor Jackson
  • Rep. Josh Ford
  • Chief Justice Drake Paxton
  • Associate Justice Jorge Paxton
  • Mikey Reggiano
  • Valentino Vespucci
  • Rep. James Paxton (Chairperson)
  • Rep. Becks Lawson
  • Rep. Kash Keller
  • Associate Justice Elizabeth Williams
  • Cole Gordon
  • Commissioner Josh Zimmerman

The aim of this committee, which is outlined in Resolution H.R. 028, is to

“…investigate the feasibility and wording of a potential Constitution for the State of San Andreas.”

In a letter to the committee members from chairperson James Paxton, it notes that the constitution should be adopted before the beginning of the 2nd Congress. Based on the current remaining terms of the First Congress, we are looking at 1 to 1½ months as an estimated timeline.
