Must have purchased the car new from a dealership, on or after September 1st 2022
Must have proof of purchase
The only accepted proof of purchase is a picture of the bank transaction showing the dealership purchased from, the vehicle purchased, the date of purchase, as well as the CSN & bank account. (See example) Can be the phone app or actual bank.
Must show proof of current ownership
Proof of ownership can be checked with a DoJ member that is apart of the EV Rebate Committee, or the person can store their car in a public garage and take it back out again
Must show identification that matches CSN of bank account used for purchase
Rebate Restrictions
1 rebate per person
1 rebate per car/ license plate
Vehicle price is based on sticker price from dealership, not amount paid from bank account to the dealership; as to make it fair between people who have financed and purchased outright
EV Rebate Chairman can revoke a rebate and invoice the recipient the amount rebated which must be paid within 7 days of invoice sent, or the rebate recipient may face prosecutionÂ
Any loop hole found in the future and attempted to be used will be found void and you will not get a rebate
