Statement from Express Cab Services regarding our company’s affiliation with the Lodge of San Andreas Taxis “Union”.

Mirror Park (Express Cab Services Depot) — On Sunday July 24, 2022, Express Cab Services joined the Lodge of San Andreas Taxis, an organization intended to support the taxi industry through lobbying efforts and inter-business communication and cooperation. The Lodge of San Andreas Taxis was founded by Jethro Springs of Green Star Taxi.

Express Cab Services joined the Lodge freely and in good faith, as the oldest and largest transportation company in San Andreas. It is our belief that an organization like this can have a positive impact both on our industry and the city.

However, with careful evaluation over the past four weeks, Express Cab Services has decided to immediately disassociate from the Lodge of San Andreas Taxis. While our team supports the underlying mission of the Lodge, we find that in its current state it doesn’t align with our business goals or place in the community.

Most importantly, Express Cab Services does not support aimless industrial action such as the business strikes which were launched by the Chairman without cause, purpose, or consultation of the Lodge’s members. We find such actions to be counterproductive and punishing to the everyday citizen. Express Cab Services does not support corporate hostility towards law enforcement or the government without good reason. While there are policies that our group would like to see changed, we believe that discourse with citizens and the legislature is the best way to approach this.

Express Cab Services wishes the Lodge and its members the best and appreciates the opportunity to work within the organization for a short time. Our management team is currently focused on rebuilding our fleet and delivering the best transportation service to the citizens, businesses, and public servants of our great state.
