We Will Not Go Quietly Into the Night

Fellow Citizens,

I don’t think I’ve ever observed a government make such a big show of making it look like they are doing something while actually doing so little. Is it just me? We as a state are faced with a very obvious, if not clunky and uninspired, terroristic threat. The actions of Mutiny are owned by one, if not more, individuals. They have an active presence on social media. They have claimed responsibility for the power interruptions and cybersecurity hacks to government departments.

A “state of emergency” has been declared, ascribing the recent power outages to “rolling blackouts”, but what does this state of emergency mean? What actions are being taken to mitigate these power interruptions? What effect will this state of emergency have on the average citizen? If the goal of this state of emergency is to alert everyone that the power grid is in jeopardy, the lack of power over the past several days has already achieved that.

“Rolling blackouts” are systematic, temporary power outages that help bring balance to the supply and demand of electricity in the market. The power interruptions that we have been dealing with for the past several days are very clearly not that. The government attempting to disguise the disruptive actions of a terrorist group as a regular, planned event, is frankly extremely alarming.

The complete lack of information on the state of the investigation into Mutiny and their actions is unconscionable. Has anything been done to secure our necessary utilities? It’s power today; what happens if this group gains access to water controls? The gas supply? What is our government doing to protect us and our resources? If the goal of the complete blackout of information to the public is to prevent widespread panic, I don’t think it’s working. We deserve to know what is being done to secure and protect ourselves and our resources. Instead, we are being kept in the dark.

Concerned Citizen, I am 100% in agreement with you. That is why, as Commander of the Army the North, who gave credible information about Mutiny was largely ignored. Law enforcement at no time followed up with me. They didn’t seem concerned with additional information I had regarding recent Mutiny movements. Since our Declaration of War, government seems to be circling the wagons just concerned with what we do, and not go after the real problem of which is Mutiny. Once you start attacking a power grid, the shift is to terrorism. They are not a benevolent organization. Attacking the power grid can cause deaths. Now FIB is involved, and they are shifting their focus on what the Army of the North does. Matter of fact, I heard rumors that they are preparing a warrant for my arrest. Let me make myself clear. The Army of the North is prepared to fight on multiple fronts. We will not cower, and we will continue to fight for every citizen in the state.

  Burn the government. Either incompetent or corrupt, it doesn’t matter. They leave us scared on the streets while they feed us bullsh*t information. They aren’t even trying to cover up their apathy anymore. This new Governor and her Representatives need to go. The police need reform and oversight. See that massive MCD HQ out on the highway? What the HELL are they doing with all their resources? Where’s the transparency?! Army of the North please know that regular hardworking citizens fully support you. You aren’t vigilantes. You are PATRIOTS.

Isn’t the “Editor Team” just Mutiny? So isn’t this just them threatening to interrupt more of our utilities? Something needs to be done from this!

I can’t believe what I am reading. Weazel News has become propaganda and I can no longer trust this as a source of non-biased news. If you’re not supporting our government then you’re not supporting America.
