LOS SANTOS (WZ) — Captain Kuznetsov of the Major Crimes Division has announced two breakthroughs in ongoing cases into the Death of Representative Evan Lee and an investigation into the Ballas Street Gang.
Thursday at a press conference at Mission Row, Captain Kuznetsov of the Major Crimes Division has announced two major updates with ongoing cases. The first update regarding the Murder of Representative Evan Lee who tragically died in late June. Captain Kuznetsov gave out a timeline of events regarding the death.
“The evening of Mr. Lee’s murder, detectives and officers responded to a 9-1-1 call from an employee of the Pereiro Beach Motel. Minutes later, a law enforcement officer arrived on scene and found the location of the call and one of the rooms of the motel.
Detectives and officers breached the hotel room and found Mr. Lee lying down in serious medical distress, of course, the Emergency Medical Service was immediately contacted. As officers and to provide emergency medical care on scene, EMS arrived and transported Mr. Lee to Mt. Sinai Hospital. Of course, now we know later in the evening he succumbed to his injuries, which was a single stab wound to his back.”

The captain also confirmed that there was a person of interest in this case and they are attempting to locate them. Police are investigating some potential motives, however are not releasing that information to the public.
Lieutenant Jenkins, also of the Major Crimes Division also spoke about a new story, a raid on leaders of the Ballas Street Gang. They found $36,000 in counterfeit bills and $226,000 worth of marijuana. Six illegal firearms were also recovered from the houses. There are now arrest warrants for two leaders, Darnell Whitescale and Keyshawn Davis. A third high ranking figure has been arrested by the Los Santos Police Department. The Major Crimes Division urges anyone with information to contact the police either by 911 or 311.
The major crimes division, after thorough investigation by some detectives and working together in collaboration with the police departments, the LSPD and the BCSO, We were able to execute a raid on the three leaders of the Ballas gang, on Grove Street, on their homes.
We found quite a bit of drugs, money and guns. We seized thirty-six thousand in counterfeit bills that were not from banks. We also seized two hundred and twenty six thousand dollars worth of marijuana.
There were six illegal firearms seized from the homes for a grand total of approximately two hundred and sixty two thousand dollars on street value. At this time, we have warrants out for the arrests of Darnell Whitescale and Keyshawn Davis.
