Meet Weazy, Our New Mascot!
After announcing our new mascot, polling the public for name suggestions, and asking for YOUR vote to choose the best idea, we finally have a winner! This fun, furry ferret will be named Weazy (after our team discussed several spelling options), and he’ll represent The Ferret Files moving forward. Look for Weazy on many of our satirical content, bringing amusement and levity to your day with a twist on classic journalism.
With 44.4% of the vote, it’s clear that our readers prefer Weazy (listed above as the variation “Weezey”) over the other name options. While there was a strong contingent that loved the clever parody names Freddy Furcury, Ferret Bueller, and Jake Ferralta, most of you spoke up to voice your support for our winner.
