GO VOTE! – Winter 2026 General Election Polls Open

LOS SANTOS, SAN ANDREAS [WZL] – Attention, San Andreas! The Winter 2026 Election voting period has officially begun! From now until October 26th at 2 PM EST, be sure to get to the polls and use your voice.

How does the Election Work?

Voting in the state of San Andreas works differently than in other states. We use single transferable vote (STV), which allows you to vote for the candidates in order of preference. The candidate in the first box is your most preferred candidate. You can rank all the candidates in order, but this is not a requirement for voting.

If your first preference comes last, your vote will transfer to your second preference. This process repeats until all the seats are filled or if a candidate you have preferred reaches the required quota to be elected. Still confused? Here is a fun video explaining it all, and if you want to learn more, you can watch this follow-up video as well.

This election is between two gubernatorial candidates. On your ballot, you’ll mark down whether you’re voting for Fantana-Romance or Cash-Kennedy.

How to vote

When you talk with the polling assistants at your chosen polling place, they will hand you a tablet to vote on. Fill out your ballot with your candidate choices, submit it properly to cast your vote, claim a sweet sticker to show you voted, and that’s it! You have just voted in the General Election.

Where to vote

Alright, voting time. In this state, you vote at City Hall. If this is your first time voting in San Andreas, don’t worry, you’re already registered! Voting takes place in the City Hall lobby.

Rockford City Hall

At Rockford City Hall, approach the polling assistants behind the white tables. Find them by turning right from the main lobby entrance, toward the courthouse side of the building.

At Sandy Shores City Hall, enter through the east entrance. There are several polling booths available. Simply select a booth and vote!

Paleto Bay Town Hall (Paleto Bay Police Station)
