A Plea For Help: A Missing Diver

LOS SANTOS (WZ) — Multiple officials and viewers have reached out to Weazel News to spread the following message.

From Connor Ellis;
“On the morning of September 7th 2021, I went diving with my close friend Jackson Knapp at the Del Pero Pier. Having both served 10 years as rescue divers, and receiving various diving certifications such as low visibility diving, nitrox diver, severe weather water rescue, high current rescue among others, what I’m about to tell you is extremely unusual.

We both went in and only one of us resurfaced. I watched Knapp dive in and that was the last time I saw him. I’m reaching out to news outlets to help spread the word about my dear friend who is now missing. I’ve included an image of his last known tweet, which contains a selfie that he took just before I jumped in.

Upon resurfacing and not seeing Knapp at all, I began to search the immediate area top to bottom, looking for any signs of him. I eventually gave up searching and went back to the spot on the pier from which we jumped. I found his phone smashed and our belongings rummaged through. This is when I contacted EMS and PD. EMS conducted a search in the water and found no signs of Knapp. Two detectives showed up, took pictures of the scene and my statement.

Please help get word out that my friend is missing and the circumstances of his disappearance are highly suspicious.”

    I was one of the individuals who went out on a search based on what was left at the scene. We searched much of the area and were unable to find either Mr. Knapp or any other further clues. If anyone has any further information, please contact local law enforcement.

    I too was involved in the search, and was at the pier prior to these divers going in the water. What isn’t mentioned in the article, is that there was a 3rd person, a green haired female that the 2 experienced divers had just recently met and gotten a ride from. There is DEFINITLY something smelling VERY fishy about this whole ordeal!
