Fancy Schmancy!

The San Andreas State Police (SASP) has officially moved into their newly renovated headquarters at Mission Row. They previously spent almost 600 days at the La Mesa Police Station. I’ve visited their new location already, and their lobby looks very open and bright. I even saw the winning surfboard design. Congratulations on being recognized as a main law enforcement department alongside the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) and the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO)!

ICYMI…

There was that big Black Lotus court stuff last week. My favorite barefoot friend, Annie, was there in the courtroom with a camera to record it all. Now, you have the chance to watch the recording if you missed it or want to relive it. Thank you, Annie (and Clayton)!

Drumroll Please…

The new Pardon Committee is officially formed! After what felt like months, the Office of the Governor announced the official roster (this isn’t sports) for the Pardon Committee. Assistant State Attorney Garry Shoeman will be representing the Department of Justice, Acting State Defender Raphael Messi will be representing the Public Defender’s Office, and both Jack Burton and Matt Murdank will fill in the roles of private law. You can read the official press release if you wish to. At this time, I cannot tell you what the Pardon Committee does because I either didn’t learn it or I forgot it.

Right Around the River Bend…

Except it’s not a river; it’s just next weekend. Parks Week is approaching! Every year on April 22nd, the world celebrates Earth Day. Here in San Andreas, you can celebrate by joining the beach cleanup at Vespucci Beach, camping in the Senora National Park, fishing in the tournament in Paleto Cove, tubing down Cassidy Trail, biking through the Paleto State Park, and getting your very own Earth Day pin. If you have any questions about the activities or why we celebrate Earth Day, you should reach out to a ranger or parks employee by heading up to their Welcome Center or HQ in Paleto to chat with them in person.

Stella’s Recommendation of the Week…

Donate your blood! The nice people from the San Andreas Medical Services (SAMS) will give you cookies and a sticker. If you’re lucky, you might even get comforted by cute K9 doggos. At least, this was a possibility at the latest SAMS Blood Drive that happened yesterday at the Galileo Observatory. There will always be another blood drive, so don’t you fret! (The next one is on May 18th.)

Have a Stella Day and a hardcore night, San Andreas!
