Political Watch: Day Four of the Campaign

LOS SANTOS (WZ) — Today was the day of the Candidate Debate. We have provided the full debate (aside for a tiny section where the video feed cut out).

If you attended in person or have finished watching the debate, please consider filling out our After-Debate poll. https://tinyurl.com/wzpoll even if you have done the poll before the debate took place. These surveys really allow us to analyse candidates and their responsiveness better, along with the opinions of the populus.

Kash Keller sued for Defamation

A court file was submitted today only half an hour after the debate ended, the case claims comments made on stage were false and defamatory towards Casandra Cohen. A settlement was possibly discussed but denied, the demands of the Plaintiff are

  • A public apology for the allegedly false comments
  • A cease and Desist agreement
  • $60,000 for the statements made; and
  • Any legal fees

After Debate Protest

A chaotic protest occurred outside of Mission row shortly after the debate concluded, because someone went and stole countless possessions from vehicles in the parking lot which were left unguarded, while this wasn’t a formal protest, people were angry that the police on site did nothing to stop the robberies. We contacted the Los Santos Police Department front desk for comment and they provided no comment statement.

Pre-Debate Poll

We ran a poll asking two questions,

  1. Which candidate would you vote for if you could only Vote for ONE?

and

  1. Which three candidates will you vote for in the election?

The following are the results.

If the respondent only had to pick one candidate, 48.6% of respondents stated they would only vote for Kash Keller.

13.5% said they would only vote for Josh Ford,

13.5% for Becks Lawson.

Charlie Bradstock (5.4%,) Cearious Apheliance (5.4%,) Mohn Nash (5.4%,) Anders Kristiansen (2.7%,) Caster Taylor (2.7%) and Jorge Paxton (2.7%) take up the remaining results.

For a Three Person Prefered poll the results showed multiple candidates getting votes

From highest to lowest they are

  1. Kash Keller (20.5%)
  2. Becks Lawson (17.1%)
  3. Josh Ford (15.4%)
  4. Charlie Bradstock (7.7%)
  5. Jacob Wheeler (6.8%)
  6. Mohn Nash (6.0%)
  7. Jorge Paxton (5.1%)
  8. Simon Rouillard (3.4%)
  9. Caster Taylor (3.4%)
  10. Cearious Apheliance (3.4%)
  11. William Benning (2.6%) – Has Now retired from the campaign
  12. Anders Kristiansen (2.6%)
  13. Aleks Ivanov (2.6%)
  14. James Nark (1.7%)
  15. Donald Keizer (0.9%)
