Red, Red, and More Red…

Yesterday, I got a tour of the San Andreas Fire & Rescue HQ, also known as the Rockford Fire Station, during their SAFR Open Day. The place is very bright and red. They showed off their very red fleet, which includes the firetruck, command vehicle, ambulance, and more. My favorite part was meeting Ember in the lobby. She is the Chief Fire Chief and a very good girl. The team there said this location is a big improvement compared to their old location, and I can definitely agree. I’m glad they’ve been enjoying this place.

What’s In Your Cabinet?

Apparently, Governor Damien Key, Lieutenant Governor Gracie McCoy, Secretary of State Link Jordins, LSPD Chief of Police Julie Lee, SASP Commissioner Barry Hill, SAFA Chief Pilot Vladimir Petchenko, DOJ State Attorney Anthony Lankowski, Surgeon General Dr. Justin Cooke, Ranger Captain Chase Reid, BCSO Sheriff Liam Cavanagh, BCSO Undersheriff Chris Stevens, SADPW Director Erin Murphy, DHS Director Miles Matthews, and Senior Prosecutor Doc Hillard were in our cabinet on January 24th. I literally copied and pasted this from the meeting notes, which are public thanks to  H.R. 295 – The Government Election Transparency and Integrity Act.

What did they talk about in the meeting? I have no idea. Too many words; didn’t read, but you can! Just kidding, I skimmed it. One thing that stuck out to me was that SAFA has introduced a No-Fly List. What does this mean? I’m not too sure, so that’s definitely something that I hope they talk about at the next Town Hall meeting. Comment below if there was anything else in the meeting notes that stuck out to you that I may have skimmed over.

New Fleet Out and About…

Yesterday, Public Works retired several old vehicles from their fleet and brought in a few new ones. You may have started to notice smaller tow trucks around town, the Vapid Guardian Flatbed (4-door) and Maibatsu Mule Flatbed (2-door). Please be patient with Public Works as they all get acclimated to the much wider turning on these trucks. You may also see other new PW vehicles out and about, but that’s not important for me to talk about right now.

Stella’s Recommendation of the Week…

As many of you are unable to avoid, you probably know that in a few days, there will be a holiday known as Valentine’s Day. Traditionally, most people spend that day with their loved ones to show love and appreciation. While there’s nothing wrong with that, I do want to remind you all that it’s also important to show yourself some love and appreciation.

Loving yourself is more than just taking care of yourself. It’s also about self-respect and believing in your worth. You have to be kind to yourself, especially when you make mistakes. See challenges as opportunities for growth, not your inability to meet the high standards you set for yourself; high standards are not what’s truly holding you back. Loving yourself can lower your stress levels, increase your compassion for others, improve your self-trust, and remind you to set boundaries more often. Perhaps this season, take some time to show yourself some love and care so you can better appreciate yourself in addition to appreciating others around you.

Have a Stella Day and a hardcore night, San Andreas!
