Los Santos, San Andreas – This evening, Secretary of State Wyatt McKenzie (P) released a statement regarding a new government-sponsored committee, which had been previously announced at the last Town Hall. Proposed by veteran politician State Representative Endeavour Jackson (I) and sponsored by Secretary McKenzie (P), the legislature and Governor Tod (I) recently passed H.R. 087, the Exemplary Public Servants & Citizens Act. This act created two community awards, the Exemplary Citizens Award and the Exemplary Public Servants Award, aimed at recognizing significant contributions to San Andreas and its diverse communities.

The committee, consisting of the Chairperson of the San Andreas State Library, the Governor, the Secretary of State and two community members, will establish a process for selecting from among the nominees to receive these awards. It’s not currently known how often the award will be given out, but citizens can submit nominations today for those whose contributions should be recognized.
