LOS SANTOS (WZ) — After the trial of Former Representative William Benning, the Governor had a surprise announcement to make.

Caster Taylor, Paxton newest chief of staff has been nominated and sworn in as the fifth representative, replacing Benning after his resignation and impeachment. Since we are so close to the next general election on January 6th the Constitution outlines that the governor can nominate someone to fill the position until the next election.

Caster Taylor gave some remarks before being sworn in as a Representative by Chief Justice-elect Elizabeth WIlliams.

Mr Taylor has known as many for his business friendly attitudes, as the owner of Burgershot in Del Perro, and as a spokesperson for the public as the business liaison for the Commerce and Labor Department.

As the governor said, Taylor ran in both the special and fall elections but failed to reach the threshold for election.

Taylor is also known for the San Andreas Food & Wine Festival which was held in November.

Political pundits we have spoken with have called this nomination an ‘expert choice.’
