We also want to thank KOKORO for putting on the event and for our rangers, employees, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event possible.

At the Parks Department, we recognize the importance of protecting and preserving our local wildlife and pet populations. With this in mind, we plan to use the money raised from the Earth Day concert to reestablish our Pets and Wildlife division, which will work to ensure that our island is safe and habitable for all animals. This division has been responsible for managing and monitoring the health and well-being of our local wildlife populations, as well as working to prevent and address any issues related to animal welfare in our community in the past, and we’re excited to be back to it.”

Poppy Hill – San Andreas Parks Department

Weazel News also reached out to Tortuga Marine Conservation Society for a comment, but none have been provided at the time of publishing.

Group photo at One Planet: An Earth Day Charity Concert.
