Rockford Hills, Los Santos<\/em> – The San Andreas Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued a press release regarding [2024-CM-011] – State of San Andreas v. Jebediah Alsbrook<\/a> for the shooting death of San Andreas State Police Trooper Robert Richardson. According to the morgue intake form on the docket<\/a>, Trooper Richardson passed on October 16, 2023 at approximately 3:15pm (ET). Cause of death was listed as “traumatic blood loss from GSWs”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE TO SEEK DEATH PENALTY FOR CAPITAL MURDER SUSPECT CHARGED IN THE SHOOTING DEATH OF ROBERT RICHARDSON<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rockford Hills, Los Santos (City Hall):<\/strong> The Department of Justice last Friday revealed a criminal indictment of Jebediah “Jube” Alsbrook, 26, of San Andreas, for the murder of Robert Richardson, a decorated lawman who served with distinction in the San Andreas State Police. Alsbrook was arrested on January 5th by troopers after a vehicle pursuit in Mirror Park. He is charged in a criminal complaint with a single count of Aggravated First Degree Murder and one count of Attempted Aggravated First Degree Murder. Alsbrook was released on $125,000 bail following an arraignment hearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Captain Richardson was ambushed last October by Alsbrook and others while performing a traffic stop near Route 68 in Sandy Shores. Deputy Sheriff Raegan Frasier was seriously wounded in the ambush, but survived after receiving expert medical treatment at a nearby hospital. The Department in a recent court filing announced its intention to seek the death penalty against Alsbrook. \u201cOur communities have slowly descended into bedlam at the hands of people like Alsbrook,” said State Attorney Anthony Lankowski. “By seeking the death penalty, we are sending a clear and unambiguous message that we will not tolerate this type of lawlessness. I have full faith in my prosecutors and the court that justice will be done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Justice will make no further extrajudicial comments. A criminal complaint is merely an allegation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
