Merge And Serve: Law Enforcement Announces A New Era Of Policing

The Los Santos Police Department, Blaine County Sheriff’s Office, and San Andreas State Police issued a press release announcing the official merger of all three (3) departments into a “single unified agency”; the San Andreas State Police. Starting today, all sworn members of the new San Andreas State Police department will be referred to as Officers.

As part of this change, the department has adopted new uniforms and liveries representing the pride, honor, and resilience of law enforcement in San Andreas. Officers now wear black and gold uniforms and their vehicles have undergone a makeover as well giving them a consistently recognizable look. This merger, aimed at strengthening law enforcement to provide better services across the state of San Andreas, combines the resources, personnel, and expertise of the three (3) departments into a unified force to protect and serve our citizens.

For Immediate Release:

On October 3rd 2025, the Los Santos Police Department, Blaine County Sheriff’s Office, and
San Andreas State Police will officially merge into a single unified agency: the San Andreas
State Police. From that date forward, all sworn in personnel will be referred to as Officers.

To reflect this new chapter, the department will adopt black and gold uniforms, representing
pride, honor, and resilience. Vehicle liveries will also be updated to match the new uniform
colors, ensuring a consistent and recognizable identity across the state.

All current cadets will be formally sworn in as Officers, and all personnel already holding the
rank of Officer or above will be grandfathered into their positions.

Until the official transition date, operations within the Los Santos Police Department, Blaine
County Sheriff’s Office, and San Andreas State Police will continue as normal.

This historic merger represents a major step in uniting law enforcement resources, personnel,
and expertise under one banner to provide consistent and effective service across the state.
