Out with the old… In with the new…

The 9th Congress and Damien Key’s term have ended, but Shout News’s Editorial Board shared information and their thoughts on how things went. How do you think the 9th Congress and Governor Key’s administration handled their term? Next up, the 10th Congress has already kicked things off with their first proposed bill, H.R. 338 – Renewed Transparency in Legislation of 2024, which is pending the Governor’s review. How do you feel about H.R. 338, and what are you hoping to see from the new administration?

RIP Losing Governor Candidate…

Liam Cavanagh passed away on June 2nd, hours after the Election Results Party. He was well known for being the former Blaine County Sheriff before resigning to become a United States Marshal. At the time, there was a mix of reactions to his death on Y. Citizens trying to visit Pillbox Medical during the bypass were disappointed about being turned away, especially because they were being referred to Sandy or Paleto Medical just for “one dying cop.” It was something Shout News shared a press release from Blaine County Sheriff Chris Stevens the next day. Whether you view Cavanagh positively or negatively, he will be remembered in San Andreas.

Got a Scoop?

Sharing is caring. If you have encountered something and you think the world should know about it from reading Stella’s Scoops, you can now share what you experienced to be included in the Scoops. It’ll be in your own words, so it’ll be in your voice and perspective. Obviously, the Weazel News team has the final say in whether or not something will be published, but it doesn’t hurt to try.

Stella’s Recommendation of the Week…

As we roll into the start of summer, I would like to recommend that we all take a vacation and go somewhere different for a change in pace. Whether that’s going to another city, state, or even country, it can be beneficial to take a trip. If you are financially tight and can’t go on a big trip, you can also go on a staycation and visit Cayo or go camping out in one of the many parks within the state. However you choose to vacation, it’s always a good idea to take a break from the daily routine and have fun.

Have a Stella Day and a hardcore night, San Andreas!
