Time Flies When You’re Having Fun…

I’m not sure how this is possible, but Food Truck Friday had its 1-Year anniversary on Friday. That’s an entire year of music, dancing, socializing, and food hanging out monthly in Little Seoul at DJ Spooky Entertainment. I remember being invited to the first one, and it’s been amazing to watch an event grow over time to become what it is today. It wasn’t long ago when they hit a milestone record, and now, the State of San Andreas got to celebrate their 1-Year anniversary. Congratulations!

Living in this Economy???

Now you can! We all know how expensive buying a house in this market can be, especially when others are bidding on the same house as you. Their latest Affordable Housing Project can help you own and live in a 1-bedroom studio home in the Southside. If you have any questions, you can always reach out to someone on duty at the Department of Human Services or Dynasty Realty. To apply, head over to https://bit.ly/DHS-Housing. Good luck!

How Did That Get Here?! The Redwood of Sandy Shores

Stirring up the dust in Sandy Shores, a resident of Sandy Shores had a massive Redwood tree planted in their yard through Kraut and Sons. While the residence owner seemed pleased with their tree, others seemed surprised and disliked it. For many, it gave way to take a trip to Sandy Shores and see it for themselves. Erin and Rhylee also ventured up to check the tree out, which was even more significant than the Y post. The tree spanned longer than Rhylee’s wingspan! And it’s over 17 times taller than me!

What a Knock-Out…

Some of you may remember our Weazel’s old series, Street Beefs, written and photographed by the multi-talented Billie Eagley. They’re at it again, this time sharing the breakdown of April’s “Knock-Out Night” hosted by the the Scarlet Valkyries on the 13th. Read the article to find out who the fighters were and who the big winner was!

Stella’s Recommendation of the Week…

Speaking of tree(s), the huge Redwood tree would be perfect for hugging; however, since it’s in someone’s yard, it’s probably best to hug a tree that’s not on someone’s property. It’s also the tail-end of National Parks Week, so why not start hugging trees and showing them love? After all, we have to take care of the land we live on and the nature we coexist with. Plus, it’ll be Mother’s Day before we know it, so that gives us another reason to show Mother Nature some love and appreciation.

Have a Stella Day and a hardcore night, San Andreas!
