San Andreas State Police (SASP) Commissioner Barry Hill issued a press release confirming Joshua Evans was fatally injured while being escorted to the vehicle transport back to Bolingbroke State Penitentiary. Chaos erupted shortly after Judge Tarts adjourned court for the evening for the trial of Joshua Evans, when an armed suspect shot the defendant. Immediately, SWAT began shouting for everyone to evacuate the area and pushing crowds across the street from the Occupation Ave Courthouse.

“Officers on scene immediately attempted to perform life saving measures on Joshua Evans. San Andreas Fire and Rescue arrived on scene and pronounced Joshua Evans deceased.” SAFR brought out one individual on a stretcher and transported them to Pillbox Hill Medical Center for treatment while a body bag, believed to contain Joshua Evans, was loaded into the medical examiner’s van.

Detectives Cherry Bellefleur and Jay Lamb spoke with the defense council for Joshua Evans, Hydra Dalton as the medical examiner’s van pulled away. Maxine Finch approached Attorney Dalton and they expressed their frustration with the way events unfolded after the trial.

“It’s fucking frustrating. Officers were inside, and my client just magically ends up dead? He was shot dead.. uhm- and no one will tell me anything. And this is my livelihood, this is a person I spent a lot of time out of my day to defend uhm- and they won’t tell me shit. So yea, that’s all I got to say there.”
“You can fucking quote me too, I don’t give a fuck.”

While officers have identified the armed suspect, they have not released their name at this time. “The suspect has been charged and granted bail from the San Andreas Judiciary of $100,000.” Stay tuned to Weazel News for updates on this developing story.
