Jogging Los Santos Vol 1

I am Daffodil Gardner, and I welcome you to the series of me jogging with friends through Los Santos, showing you all the wonders and people you can see and meet here!

Start of the Jog

My friend Ashlee Flower and I decided to go for a long jog on Wednesday, July 25th. We started with getting our awesome jogging outfits and parking our cars in our private garages at Eclipse Towers, where the jog started! Ashlee said when we started, “Starting is the hardest part.” This was very true; we had the zoomies running in circles in the beginning till we finally got the willpower to start our long jog. I was not ready for this long run since I rarely work out, mostly sitting and writing articles for the world to see. We both had a lot of fun and met some very cool people during it!

Black Hawk Coffee

We started jogging down from the apartments, going past the Rockford Police Department (RPD) and continuing towards the Weazel News building, where we took a quick break before continuing towards Legion Square, where we were heading to get some coffee and chai latte from Black Hawk Coffee. As we got to Black Hawk Coffee, we met Josive, the manager, who was kind enough to join in on our picture. He served us our very tasty coffee and chai while even more customers, including multiple officers, showed up. The officers were not super keen on taking a selfie with us, but after revealing where I work, they were ready to pose for the camera, snickering with each other and us as we tried getting everyone in the frame. Black Hawk Coffee is a great place to go if you want a hot coffee for some energy or an iced chai latte if you are warm on a sunny day. They also serve different food options, but so we would not get cramps after eating, Ashlee and I decided only to get some drinks to enjoy. You could also go hang out with the workers and other customers since they seem to be quite a popular establishment with many visitors. Ashlee and I had a blast there with everyone, and we will definitely go back to Black Hawk Coffee in the future.

Benefactor

After visiting Black Hawk Coffee, we continued to Benefactor, where my lovely friend Oscar Steinbeck works. We got to see some really cool and very expensive cars while there and chatted with Oscar, who tried explaining what “Sheesh” means to Ashlee. Ashlee did indeed not understand what “Sheesh” meant. But it was all great and fun, and we laughed a lot. Oscar is the right person to befriend if you need someone to help you with the smallest things, like buying a new car. Oscar’s been a great help to me multiple times, and he always offers help to others who might need it. Benefactor is also a great place to buy yourself a high-quality vehicle. They are highly recommended by me!

Haunted Dumpster and Biker to the rescue!

If you are lucky while jogging, you might even run into a haunted dumpster like Ashlee and I did while running past The Little Teapot, where Ashlee works. The dumpster was somehow standing up vertically by itself with some form of dark magic, probably. We had quite a good laugh about it, watching it move around alarmingly while we jogged past it. At least a few ghosts must haunt Los Santos since this is not uncommon. I have spotted a flying dumpster in Legion Square once before as well! Around the same area as our haunted dumpster, a biker asked us if we were ok. Skyler Wright saw us running and thought we might need some help which was very thoughtful! But of course, Ashlee and I were only jogging back home and needed no help, but we still had a nice chat with Skyler and took a selfie together! Skyler also happens to work at Black Hawk Coffee. It shows that you could end up meeting anyone and seeing some very interesting things just by going jogging.

Aching Legs and Out of Breath

Arriving back to our apartment up at Eclipse Towers, we were sweating like pigs, legs aching like no tomorrow, and so out of breath we sounded like a couple of wind turbines. But we felt like superheroes; we managed to jog a very long distance (with some breaks) and made it back. We will definitely be feeling this in our legs tomorrow. Seeing how much I will improve by regularly jogging around the city will be interesting. I am excited about this jogging journey, and I hope to meet many new friends and visit a lot of different amazing establishments. Feel free to contact me through the directory or my ad in the OnlyAds app if you want to join in.
