LEGION SQUARE (WZ) — Representative Jackson has started to host a weeks worth of Job Fairs to boost employment numbers for any business.
On Sunday, Representative Jackson started a job fair where anyone can come down and inquire about joining any of the businesses listed. Businesses owners are encouraged to add their names onto the list to boost employment numbers in the state.
We spoke with the representative about his reasons for starting the job fair, he said that Unemployment has gone up recently with some businesses closing down and as State treasurer he wants to work in the field and get the crisis sorted out.
The job fair will be on the move; initially in Legion Square, it will move to other areas of the city and into the county to allow a maximum number of people to be able to attend.
The Representative urges anyone interested in getting a decent job and earning a living wage to come to the Job fair and register your interest, or get assistance with the application process for some of the government departments.
The job fair typically runs before and after the 8pm (ET) storm, see Twitter for listings.
