BREAKING: Los Santos Police Chief Mac Moody Has Stepped Down as Chief
VINEWOOD (WZ) — Los Santos Police Chief Mac Moody has retired as Chief of Police. Replacing him in the top spot is Brandon Davis, who was Deputy Chief under Chief Moody.
Today marks the final day of Chief Mac Moody tenure at the Los Santos Police Department, announcing his retirement from the role of Police Chief. He has passed the reins of the Chief over to Deputy Chief Brandon Davis and stepped back to a supporting rank. He plans to retire completely at some undisclosed point in time but for now will continue to lend his expertise to the LSPD.
Lt George Kuznetsov was promoted to Captain as one of Chief Moody’s last acts as Chief.
Chief Justice Drake Paxton administered an Oath of Office for Acting Chief Davis.
Officially, he is acting Chief until the Governor confirms the appointment.
In his speech, the Acting Chief said there were not going to be too many changes and they are going to keep the great work of the Department going as it has for the last four months.
Acting Chief Davis said in his inaugural speech:
I’ve been in law enforcement for over a decade and I’m very passionate about the role and about the men and women I work with on a daily basis…
…We have a lot of work to do, there isn’t going to be any kind of drastic changes, we’ve been working very well as a department for the last three to four months now and we are just going to continue to do it…
